good morning and happy monday!
i hope you all had a good weekend. i had only 1 day off. boo. changing shifts for a few weeks. means changing my days off. i am starting to ask people what day it actually is. haha! i can't wait to get settled! :) soon. maybe in march. at least settled for 6 months. we shall see.
anyways. the reason i'm here. i've got a little bigger peek at my 28 days of love book cover.
i really love how this is turning out. chalkboard paint. i primed the surface with chalk, after 3 coats of the chalkboard paint. (to get that used chalkboard look) then splattered gold mist and let it dry. that takes a long time. be patient, i had to keep telling myself. LOL! pink misted doily glued down and secured with wide gold chevron washi tape. the date label is embossed with gold zing and i used an evalicious deep etched rubber stamp. gold thickers, of course. LOL!
there you have it! my cover. fun, right? i am really loving it! next i need to get my list together for you all and get my pages cut. before that though, i've got some cocoa daisy to scrap and Project Life to catch up. (i've got week one done and the title pages. yay, me!)
