good morning!
here's my manifesto page for my JYC book.
i printed out the manifesto like a photo and handled it that way. as you can see there are a lot of my current loves here. machine stitching, doily, chevrons, glassine paper and gray mist. it's a good start. i'm happy with it. :)
now, the other book...
i've got it going and i took photos today and readied them to be printed.

i used the cool snowflake stencil in the merry & bright kit at cocoa daisy. misted it with the white studio calico mister huey that came in the merry & bright kit, too. i wanted more definition of the snowflake, so, i outlined it with a white pen. uniball signo. they are my favorite. added a pink snowflake a a little flair button from marcy penner.
oh, and i machine stitched the edges before gluing the paper to the super thick chipboard that came in the merry & bright kit.
only trouble i'm having, the mister huey is a little chalky and wants to rub off, like a chalkboard. any ideas for sealing it, out there? :)
