This is my friend Cari. Some of you may know her as mommy2blueeyes in some of the onlinecommunities out there. I love this girl! I met her at the beginning of 2004 when we both joined an online DT. In May 2004, that went a little nutty and we left and joined a new team on a new site. There were some issues earlier this year and that site disbanded and I went to another team. Cari stayed with the previous owner. We've emailed, but it's kind of slowed down and I really miss Cari. These photos were taken in White Rock, BC last September and I thought we had a great time. It was a perfect summer day and we walked, talked and had coffee. (Thanks for the mocha, Cari!) If you see this, Cari, I miss you and our friendship. Love ya, Girl!
Check it out! Rebecca has come up with some FANTASTIC new stuff! I can't wait to get my hands on some of this stuff! I really LOVE the new stamps! Here's a teaser for you! Go to the Sassafras Lass site and check them all out! These are certainly a MUST have! :)
Well, I'm only a day late! ;) Here's a card I made for my friend, Becca Sutton, who's birthday was yesterday! So, if you know Becca, send an email with a Happy Birthday wish! It's just a little belated! I'm sure she will love it! LOVE YOU, B! :)
It's Saturday and I don't have to go to work! YAY!!! It's been a while since that has happened! YAY! I had to work on the 4th and it's now paying off! :) I've got some big plans for today! HAHA! I'm going to make breakfast for my sweetie (never get to do that) and I'm going to my friend's little boy's first birthday party for a bit! I made him this card! I think when they are one, though, it's for the mom! LOL! :) Then, I have a few errands to run in town and then, maybe , we'll BBQ tonight! I better call Mom to let her know not to come for lunch today. (she usually comes on Saturday to have lunch with me)
I better get back to my coffee and surfing! Have a GREAT day, Everyone! :)
Oh what fun they are, eh? :) You gotta LOVE fireworks! I love going to the big shows with the HUGE firworks that make your heart pound when they go boom! We didn't get to go to the big show in town this year. In the Pacific Northwest, especially up in in Whatcom County next to the Canadian border, it doen't get dark until really late in the summer. The show in Bellingham is never before 10:30pm and when your alarm goes off the next morning at 4:30am, getting home after 12:00am is NOT an option. We usually go to bed before it gets dark! :) Anyways, I digress... We got a few of our own fountains and firecrackers out on the reservation on Monday and did our own mini show in the backyard. Here are a few highlights from the evening...
